Handmade Moon Phase Altar Mat

Celebrate the ever-changing cycle of the moon with this beautifully handcrafted Moon Phase Mat, embroidered to showcase the complete lunar journey from the New Moon, through the waxing phases, to the Full Moon, and back again. The circular design creates a striking centrepiece for your altar, sacred space, reading table or home décor.

Each mat is carefully handmade using a soft black cotton-blend fabric, layered with cotton wadding to give a lightly padded feel while helping it sit neatly on your chosen surface. The reverse is finished with a durable black anti-static backing, providing a smart finish and helping the mat stay protected during regular use.

The moon phases are most commonly embroidered using a beautiful silver-white thread, creating a classic celestial design that stands out against the deep black background. Looking for something a little different? Alternative thread colours are also available, including soft icy blue, rich red inspired by the Harvest Moon, Strawberry Moon and Lunar Eclipse, or even glow-in-the-dark thread for an enchanting design that continues to shine after dark (available for an additional £1).

Available in four sizes, from approximately 5 x 5 inches up to 8 x 8 inches, making it suitable for everything from compact altar spaces to larger ritual displays. The photographs shown feature the 5-inch version embroidered in the classic silver-white thread.

Packaging

Your mat will be carefully wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve and posted in a padded bubble envelope to help ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
